Living at Daybreak Ranch is like living in a state park. The wildlife, the peaceful Brazos River views, the quiet setting and the constant changing seasons unfold like the backdrop to a great old western movie. Every day there is something new to see. It is easy to imagine the buffaloes that once grazed along the river below and the Indians who hunted them. This is the historic cattle drive country characterized in the movie Lonesome Dove, and both Goodnight and Loving once drove their cattle to market in this area. We gladly moved here as soon as we retired in 2005.
